After starting her career at McKinsey, Maria spent six years leading high-stakes initiatives for former Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, including strategy and negotiations for the $7B+ National Semiconductor Technology Center, a semiconductor R&D public-private partnership, and managing multibillion-dollar investment programs. In these environments, Maria built teams and processes from scratch, forged critical relationships, and adapted quickly to deliver scalable results. Now, she serves as a consultant at the intersection of technology and economic development.

I've had a long career, first as a journalist for 17 years, and then over the past 15 years as VP of communications and public affairs at two trade associations including the Solar Energy Industries Association.
